Add Checkme to ChatGPT

It takes about two minutes. You need a ChatGPT account; Checkme itself needs none.

As a custom connector

Works now

Custom connectors are set up on the web. Some plans and workspaces don't allow them.

  1. Copy the connector address

Or select the address and copy it yourself.

  2. Open Plugins

    In ChatGPT's sidebar, choose Plugins.

    ChatGPT's sidebar, with Plugins highlighted.
  3. Add a custom MCP server

Choose Add, then Add custom MCP server.

ChatGPT's Plugins page, with the Add menu open at Add custom MCP server.
  4. Fill in the form

Name it Checkme and paste the address as the Server URL. Choose No authentication, tick I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.

The Add custom MCP server form: the name Checkme, the server URL https://dzchess.app/mcp, No authentication, and I understand and want to continue ticked.
The description is optional; the address must be exact.
  5. Connect it

    Choose Connect Checkme.

The Connect Checkme dialog, with its Connect Checkme button.
  6. Get checked.

In a new chat, say “let's play chess”.

Not listed yet

When Checkme is listed, this is the quickest way. Until then, use the custom connector above.

  1. Open Plugins

In ChatGPT's sidebar, choose Plugins, and search there.

  2. Find Checkme

Search for Checkme and choose Connect.

  3. Get checked.

In a new chat, say “let's play chess”.

Say it your way

Name an opponent, a level or a clock in the same sentence: “Play me as Stockfish at level 3, with a ten-minute clock.”

Don't see the board?

Check that the Checkme plugin is connected, then start a new chat. If Add custom MCP server is missing, your plan or workspace may not allow custom servers. The connector's address must be https://dzchess.app/mcp, with nothing added. Troubleshooting
